Elizabeth Miklavcic is the Founding Artistic Director of Another Language Performing Arts Company. She is a choreographer, actress, filmmaker and performance artist. Beth serves as the co-director of the InterPlay performance series and has organized many showcases such as Experimental Floss, The Artist Exchange, and The Actors Showcase. She has over thirty-five years of professional performance experience and is dedicated to the positive influence of artistic expression. From 1996 to the present, Beth has been focusing on the world wide web and the digital opportunities that are available through this medium. 2005 saw the debut of Music for Bubble Biters the Mockumentary, a film Beth conceived and directed based on Jimmy Miklavcic’s original music composition. Bubble Biters was an official selection of Just Another International Film Festival 2005 and played at First Night Salt Lake City 2006. In 2001 Creative Passings, a dance video created by Beth, made its debut at the grand opening of the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since that time this video has been screened at festivals such as the Utah Short Film and Video Festival, Napolidanza Festival in Naples, Italy and is available at the University of Utah Marriot Library Special Collections division. Beth has created and published What?: A Choreographic Evolution DVD-ROM, a three and a half year project that was completed in 2003. This DVD is an educational resource for dance and media instruct
