Greg Bills was born in Midvale, Utah, received his BA in English from the University of Utah, and then graduated with an MFA in fiction writing from the University of California, Irvine. His publications include two novels: Consider This Home, from Simon & Schuster, which was a Literary Guild alternate selection and was published in England by Marion Boyars; and Fearful Symmetry, published by Dutton/Penguin and in trade paperback from Plume. His stories and essays have appeared in various journals and reviews, including an essay “Jack and The Giant,” which was featured in Brothers and Beasts: An Anthology of Men on Fairy Tales. Other work includes fiction in the Santa Monica Review and a retelling of Little Red Ridinghood in the Red Issue of Fairy Tale Review. He has served periodically on the fiction staff at the Community of Writers at Squaw Valley conference and was a visiting professor at Wake Forest University in 2018. He currently lives in Los Angeles and is a Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Redlands in Southern California.
