Klancy Clark de Nevers is author of Lessons in Printing: a memoir (Scattered Leaves Press, 2018), The Colonel and the Pacifist: Karl Bendetsen, Perry Saito and the Incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II, co-editor with Lucy Hart of Cohassett Beach Chronicles: World War II in the Pacific Northwest by Kathy Hogan, and a number of poems and articles. An essay, “My Life with Fonts,” recently appeared in Cagibi Literary Magazine, Issue 1, and in print in Cagibi 2019,Vol.1, No.1. Though she lives in Salt Lake City, she indulges her printer’s-daughter-self by searching out letterpress museums, type foundries, old, inky print shops, and working linotypes all over the world.
