Lawrence Green is fluent in many guitar styles including classical, rock, jazz and country. He earned degrees in music performance from Brigham Young University, Arizona State University and is the author of several guitar instructional books. Born in Washington, D.C. in 1954, Mr. Green grew up in the Maryland/D.C. suburbs playing in rock and blues bands and also studying classical guitar. Mr. Green manages to keep all the guitar styles going: his band, Jerseystreet, plays at local and out-of-state venues.

Mr. Green performs as classical guitar soloist throughout the Intermountain area at such venues as the Temple Square Concert Series. He has performed with the Utah Symphony, Utah Valley and American Fork symphonies, Tacoma Youth Symphony and is in demand as a chamber player.

LARRY GREEN / GUITARIST: Larry Green has been playing the electric guitar professionally in bands throughout the United States and abroad for 50 years. A true showman, he received a master’s in classical guitar performance from ASU and has given recitals in the US, Mexico, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Israel. He is currently the head of the guitar department (which he initiated) at Brigham Young University where he continues to teach. As a band member, he has opened for many nationally known acts including Pat Benatar, Steve Miller Band, Goo Goo Dolls, Exile, April Wine, Tracy Byrd, and more.
