Tracie Merrill

Tracie, a NJ native, graduated with her BA from UNC-Chapel Hill and a classical degree from Webber Douglas Academy in London. After 5 years of being based in NYC, she was recruited to get her MFA at the University of TN in Knoxville. In 2006, after much schooling and about a year and a half of Shakespeare tours, she relocated to SLC to join her husband. Over the past twelve years, she has performed nationally as well as internationally. Locally, she was most recently seen in Plan-B’s SLAM, as Sarah in Ice Glen at SLAC and as Lizzie in The Rainmaker at Hale Centre Theatre. Upcoming shows include Plan-B’s Di Esperienza, a new play by Matthew Bennett. Other favorite parts include Rosalind in As You Like It, Kitty in Anna Karenina, Psyche/Aphrodite in Metamorphoses, and Emilia in Othello.
