Utah Swing Orchestra

The Utah Swing Orchestra combines the finest jazz musicians around to play the music of Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Tommy Dorsey, Nat King Cole and many others. Whether your planning a company party, an upscale wedding, or just need an excuse to “Jump Jive and Wail,” this Utah jazz band will keep you dancing and tapping your foot all night.

We play the exact same arrangements of the tunes as the familiar bands of the 30s, 40s and 50s and have the look and feel of a big band from that era. This is the most experienced and easiest Swing Band your can Hire in Utah.

The Utah Swing Orchestra is perfect for weddings, dances, concerts, parties and tailors their performance to meet your needs. They have a good feel for reading the crowd. What kinds of tunes are people dancing to? When is it time to play softer? When is it time to blow the roof off the place? This band is also particularly good at song pacing. They move quickly between song selections so your guests stay on the dance floor. You can take comfort in knowing that you are hiring experienced performers.  And we can include vocalists for favorites from Rosemary Clooney and Peggy Lee or Sinatra and Mel Torme.

The band comes in 3 popular configurations:

6 piece: (small band)

12 piece: (medium/large band)

16 piece: (full big band)

  • Our musicians are so talented. Add a vocalist and you get an instant party. At this fun gig in Park City, Utah, Jefferson Tuke joined our Utah Swing Orchestra and like magic, what an elegant party band. Were the streamers too over the top?
