ABOUT THE ARTS COUNCIL

Daybreak is a unique community that embraces the values of community, family, healthy living, and a commitment to the arts and diversity.

LiveDAYBREAK Community Council is a creation of the developer and has made a long-term commitment to public art in the Daybreak community. The Daybreak Arts Council is an initiative of the LiveDAYBREAK Community Council tasked with implementing its goals in installing public art pieces throughout the Daybreak community. The Daybreak Arts Council is a resident-led council.

PROJECT DETAILS

The intention of this project is to merge public art with existing infrastructure. This particular project will be located on the outside wall of our community swimming pool. The artwork shall incorporate or interact with the wall’s rain spout.

Designs for this project should be fun, whimsical, playful, and artistic. Residents of all ages use this facility and should find joy in the artwork.

Installation for selected pieces will be set tentatively for a date in August/September of 2022.
