801 Creative Women is commissioning a temporary art piece

In a world where there seems to be less and less control, we want to give you the power. The final product can be based in the visual or performing arts and will be performed/exhibited in January, 2020 at our winter event. All disciplines are welcome and collaborations are highly encouraged. All creators must identify as female.

Winner/s will be awarded $1500 toward the creation of the piece.


How to Apply

Present your piece on a double-sided 8×8 page:

Front should include a description of your proposal – written or illustrated (the entries will all be displayed at a future event, so keep that in mind when creating)

Back of page should include artist name/s, contact info (email and phone number), short description and name of piece. (Font cannot be smaller than 8 point, we must be able to read your proposal!)

All proposals must be received by July 31, 2019
