Auditions for The Normal Heart

We’re so excited to be back in our theatre again, doing live theatre in front of live audiences! The Normal Heart tells the story of the rise of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in New York City between 1981 and 1984, as seen through the eyes of writer/activist Ned Weeks, the gay founder of a prominent HIV advocacy group. We’re seeking actors of all identities and abilities to join the cast of this moving work.

AUDITIONS:

Saturday, April 9, 2022

10 am – 2 pm

(You may come at any time during the audition window, no need to sign up)

Location: An Other Theater Company venue in the Provo Towne Centre Mall, Suite 2008 (on the 2nd floor)​

Callbacks, by invitation, will be Sunday, April 10 at 1:00pm

Actors will be paid a small per-performance stipend for this production.

Auditioners will be asked to read from a provided side from the script or they can perform a prepared 1.5 minute monologue if they prefer

Rehearsals: April 25 through June 9

Performances: June 10 – July 1
