Auditions for The Little Miamaid

The Off Broadway Theatre is holding open auditions to The Little Miamaid written by Eric R. Jensen and directed by Kylee Wood.

Show description:
Muriel, a sweet little Miamaid, finds herself lost on a girls’ outing while visiting the Great Salt Lake. Rescued by a group of mountain mermaids, she is magically transformed into one of their kind. Muriel can only change back when a young, handsome Eagle Scout of her dreams returns her love. There is one catch, however—she must not use her beautiful voice, but only body language (while still being an appropriate young lady, of course). What a conundrum! Will she win her true love? Bring the family and find out! This skewed take on every girl’s favorite show tells a hilarious story, featuring show-stopping musical numbers and amazing costumes and sets. It’s a “must-sea"!

All Parts are paid a small stipend and given a 10 Punch pass for adults and 6 punch pass for kids!

Muriel - A little Miamaid who is in love with Lord Derek
King Neptune - Muriel’s father, the king of the Ocean /Waiter 2
Santiago - A crab, Neptune’s trusted adviser
Princess Poopsie - Muriel’s sister, a beautiful Mermaid. (Played by a man)
Princess Coral-lee - Muriel’s other sister. Smart and sympathetic
Lord Derek - Muriel’s love interest, also plays minor roles
Ms. Agnes - Derek’s overbearing Mother, also plays minor roles /Waiter 1
Usana - She is a Sea Witch who needs Muriel’s voice to be human
Salty - A Saltwater Crocodile. Usana’s Sidekick
Manowar - A Jellyfish, also Usana’s Sidekick
Guppy - Child who plays the Miamaid’s fish Friend.
Chum - Child who plays the Miamaid’s and other Ensemble
Bugsy - Child who plays the Miamaid’s seagull friend.
Ensemble - plays other roles
