Bookkeeper (Part Time) - Tracy Aviary

Salary: $15-$17 per hour
Job Description: Job Status: Part time, non-exempt. 10-15 hours per week.
Reporting Relationships: Reports directly to the Accounting Consultant and the Marketing & Development Director
Job Summary: This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Accounts receivable
Accounts payable
Reports (P&L, balance sheet, numerous custom reports)
Daily admissions reports
Daily credit card deposit reconciliation
Invoicing
Prepare paperwork for annual audit
Management of petty cash account
Knowledge of GL and class code accounting practices
Statistical reporting as needed
Knowledge of sales tax reporting and reimbursement requests
Understanding of point-of-sales systems, how to add items and direct to correct GL codes

Job Qualifications: Some bookkeeping experience required. High School Diploma or GED required; higher education degree preferred; familiarity with Altru or Blackbaud software a plus, some knowledge of QuickBooks programs required. Must have the ability to use standard office machines, calculators and data input terminals; and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required. Must have a strong drive to learn, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
