Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, various agencies at the County have received calls from non-profit and community-based organizations sharing concerns about program impacts due to COVID. Because of revenue loss or increased demand for services, they are reporting an inability to adequately fund the response from their existing financial resources.
The launch of the Community Partners Program is an effort to compile and organize the various funding requests and use the County’s Coronavirus Relief Fund dollars to support critical business and social service organizations in responding to COVID-19 within their own constituencies. The program was funded with $10M of the County’s Coronavirus Relief Funds. Additional program information is included at the end of this job description.
