DesignArts Utah '22

The Utah Division of Arts & Museums’ DesignArts Program is pleased to announce a call to designers for the annual DesignArts Utah ‘22 juried exhibition to be hosted by the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art in Salt Lake City from June 24 – September 17, 2022. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2022.

This juried exhibition opportunity is open to professional and post-secondary student designers residing in Utah working in any design practice. Designers in any design field are encouraged to submit their work: realized, conceptual (with visuals or models) or in production. The Designer selected as the Juror’s Award Winner will receive a $3,000 award. Two $500 student awards will also be awarded.

This exhibition honors and celebrates Utah’s great designers and provides an opportunity for the public to learn about and engage with the design community’s work and contributions.
Mr. Benjamin Prosky will serve as juror for DesignArts Utah ’22. Benjamin Prosky is Executive Director of the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter (AIANY) and the Center for Architecture. Mr. Prosky previously worked with the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Columbia University, the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) and for the Institut francais d’architecture in Paris, France.
