Job Summary: Craft Lake City® is looking for a Festival Beverage & Food Coordinator to oversee all food exhibitors and beverage logistics at the 12th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival. The Craft Lake City Festival Beverage & Food Coordinator is passionate about elevating craft and commercial foodies in our local creative community. This individual excels at managing details, looks forward to building positive relationships with makers of diverse backgrounds and personalities, and has a desire to join a committed team to achieve Craft Lake City’s nonprofit mission.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for craft and commercial food exhibitors before, during and after the 12th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival.
-Application outreach to recruit participation of new local food vendors.
-Oversee contracts and invoicing process for selected DIY Festival food vendors.
-Draft and send information to participating foodies leading up to the DIY Festival.
-Ensure that all agreements with the venue and beverage partners are met by participating foodies.
-Collaborate with Craft Lake City team to identify festival food load-in timeline and logistics.
-Work with Craft Lake City staff to create and implement a beverage management plan for 20,000 attendees.
-Assist in ordering beverage inventory items for Craft Lake City on-site DIY Fest beverage sales
At the DIY Festival, manage on-site beverage trailers staffed by Craft Lake City cashiers.
Assisting with food vendor related press releases or other related marketing items.
Draft and send post-event survey to festival food participants.
Collaborate with Craft Lake City team members across departments.

Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills
Has experience with inventory management
Experience in event coordination, background working with food vendors is A PLUS!
Exceptional organizational skills and self-discipline
Ability to access email 2–3 times a day and respond in a timely manner.
Knows how to spell “team player” without an “I” or “me”
Proficient with Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.
Ability to adapt and be flexible to the various tasks and situations of a not-for-profit world
Ability to bring your thoughts and ideas to the table in a constructive manner
If you have experience invoicing, that is another PLUS!
Solid writing and communication skills
Ability to perform under stress

Requirements:
Must attend all staff meetings and production training
Must be able to commit to work the public hours of the festival with additional setup and teardown specific to Festival Beverage & Food Coordinator position
Ability to work in-house at our offices, 10–20 hours per week, with hours increasing during the summer months leading up to the DIY Festival
Must have your own laptop

This is a year-round, part-time, contract position with a weekly time commitment 10–20 hours per week, which begins immediately upon hiring. Weekly time commitments will increase in July and August leading up to the Craft Lake City DIY Festival on August 10, 11 and 12. The Festival Beverage & Food Coordinator is required to be on-site for the duration of the DIY Festival, so working long hours in extreme heat are factors you should consider and keep in mind when applying for this position.

Training will be provided.
