Music Man Auditions

Auditions for "The Music Man" are April 22-24

Performances are Sept 20th-28th, 2019 at the Ellen Eccles Theatre.

Location for Auditions: Thomas Edison South Charter School 1275 West 2350 South, Nibley, UT 84321

Vocal auditions for Adults (ages 15+) will be Monday, April 22nd, from 7:30-9:30 PM and Tuesday April 23rd from 6:30-8:30 PM in the band room at Thomas Edison South. All adults will need to sign up for singing audition.

There will be Dance Callbacks by invitation on Wednesday April 24th, 6:30-7:30 in the gym at Thomas Edison South.

Children's auditions will be held for boys and girls (ages 7-14) Monday April 22nd from 6:30-7:30 PM and Wednesday, April 24th from 6:30-7:30 PM. Every child will sing a portion of "Wells Fargo". Links to the music and a track are posted below. Children will NOT need to sign up for a dance audition and only those being called back for Winthrop and Amaryllis will participate in callbacks.

Vocal and reading callbacks for Adults will be Wednesday, April 24th from 7:45-10pm PM in the band room at Thomas Edison South.

Please sign up for a time-slot below and arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to check in. Please bring your audition form, which can be printed from the "Audition Materials" link below, along with a picture, which should be stapled to your form. There will be audition forms on-site, but come earlier to allow time to fill one out.

Please prepare 1 minute of a song that will wow us! We will sing from the score during call-backs. Your piece should show us your range and acting abilities. An accompanist will be provided, or you may bring your own - live or recorded.
