Now Hiring: Teen Explainers

If you know a student between the ages of 14 and 18 who is mature, open-minded, and excited to learn more about science and the natural world, we want to hire them!

The Museum is seeking Teen Explainers to engage guests with fun, hands-on activities that promote creative science learning and enrich the Museum experience.

If hired, Teen Explainers will complete a 16-hour apprenticeship and then become official members of NHMU's staff, working 15 hours per month on Wednesday evenings and select Saturdays. In a forward-facing role with the Museum, Teen Explainers will strengthen communication skills, build self-confidence, make new friends, and gain a deeper understanding of the natural world.
