On Pitch Performing Arts Announces Open Auditions for Romeo and Juliet
Auditions will be held February 12th from 7:00-9:00pm at On Pitch Performing Arts Center.

“Two households, both alike in dignity…. “

Shakespeare experts and novices alike recognize these iconic opening lines.  On Pitch Performing Arts is excited to bring the classic “Romeo and Juliet” to life - with a few modern twists.

“The approach we’re taking with this show is very different from other versions, ”  said director Rachel Holdaway. “Our production will feature a streamlined story and a modern day setting. It’s going to be a very unique experience for both actors and audiences.” OPPA! is also living up to its motto “Community Matters” by donating ticket sales from “Romeo and Juliet” to the Ronald McDonald House.

“Romeo and Juliet” follows an age-old vendetta between two powerful families which erupts into bloodshed. When two teenagers from the feuding families meet, a crisis builds that ultimately changes everyone involved.

Auditions are from 7:00-10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12th  at On Pitch Performing Arts, 587 N Main Street Layton, UT. Callbacks will be by invitation on Thursday, February 13th. Auditions are open to ages 13+.
