About the Podcast:

“This Is Her Place” is a narrative podcast that tells the remarkable stories of Utah women, past and present, in all their diversity. Through interviews and lively retellings, each episode features at least two women, one historical and one contemporary, whose lives are distinct but illuminate a common theme. Episodes in Season 1 focused on themes of public health, law enforcement, community storytelling, public art, and bridgebuilding. The podcast is co-hosted by educational leader and community builder Naomi Watkins, with producer Allison Pond, audio engineer and editor Dorothy Abrahams, and executive producer Patrick Mason. The podcast is generously supported by listeners, private donors, and a grant from Utah State University’s “Year of the Woman” initiative.
