School Of Rock Auditions

WHERE?
Green Canyon High School , Choir Room

(Enter on the North side of the building at the Auditorium entrance)

WHEN?
November 14th-16th. Dance auditions on the 19th with callbacks taking place right after.

Dance Auditions
Dance audition is required.  It will take place starting at 9 AM November 19th. You will be taught a short movement combination, no need to prepare ahead of time.

Callbacks
By Invitation only. Callbacks will take place directly after dance call on November 19th.

Kids- What to Prepare
All Kids: Please prepare a 1:00 minute song in the style of the show.  Please stick to musical theater songs.  There are plenty of rock style songs from musicals.

if you are playing an Instrument (not required): Prepare a 30 second piece to show off your skills.

Dewey- What to Prepare
Please prepare a 1:00 minute song in the style of the show and a 30 second guitar piece.

Adults- What to Prepare
Please prepare a 1:00 minute song in the style of the show.

Instruments
We will have a Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Keys set up for the rock band to prevent set up time with personal electric instruments. Any other instruments can be brought in.

Performance Dates
April 21-29th at the Ellen Eccles Theatre

Rehearsals
Kids with instruments and Dewey will rehearse once to twice a week in December and January.  Full rehearsals with everyone will begin end of January.
