The Assistant Director reports to the Executive Director and supports the work of the Executive Director and functions as a major contributor to a strong day-to-day leadership presence for program managers (3-4 staff).
Oversees day-to-day administration required to accomplish the Arts Division/Salt Lake City Arts Council’s Strategic Plan, directs staff activities, and coordinates with Board. Develops internal organizational processes, systems and infrastructure, and special projects with the goal of supporting organizational growth. Responsible for multiple and varied operational, finance, grants writing & development, contract management, and administrative responsibilities in a dynamic environment with overlapping and changing priorities.
