Theater Opportunity - Director

Great Director Opportunity for a Theater Stage Play 

This is a competitively paid salary opportunity

This position would  be able to earn a bonus upon completion of play

FT-PT depending on production schedule

Utah Venue only

Requirements:

1-2 theater credits or Performance Arts Degree

Directing experience - 1-2 preferred

Clear background

Right to work in the USA

2nd Vaccination

Ability to work with and hire production crew, actors and supporting marketing team

Must be able to manage all aspects of the production, along with an assistant, or a Stage Manager

Must be able to perform the duties of decision making, scheduling, location management, and work with the prescribed budget allowed for the production

The play is a full length stage play with pre-recorded music, and some live accompaniment

The Director must be able to work with and hire all production crew within a reasonable amount of time after signing on

The play will need a Music Director, who will handle the pre-recorded music, along with the hiring and working with the live accompaniment musicians, if needed

The play will need an experienced Set Designer/Props Manager who will handle both jobs

The play will need an experienced Seamstress, with some PT costume design as assigned

The play will need an experienced Stage Manager and Lighting Director

These are all paid-salary positions

The Director along with the Stage Manager must be able to hire and work with all actors needed for the production within a reasonable amount of time

All positions require a clear background, 2nd Vaccinations, 1-2 theater credits or degree

There are four proposed plays this year

The Director has the choice of signing on for one or more plays as a Director

The locations for these plays may vary, but will only be produced in Utah
