The Salt Lake City Arts Council is pleased to announce an opportunity for Utah artists or artist-led teams to submit up to three designs for the Three Creeks Confluence public art opportunity.
Similar to the 337 Pocket Park public art project, Three Creeks Confluence Park will feature fencing around the fishing pier that has been designed to contain 0.25” thick Corten steel panels that will be laser cut with artists’ designs. This Request For Proposals (RFP) is open to all artists residing in Utah. Artists with a connection to the Glendale neighborhood or the unique hydrology of Salt Lake City are encouraged to apply. There are 20 commissions available. Each commission is $1,000 and is inclusive of all artist’s fees and related expenses for design. The City will be responsible for fabrication and installation of the fence panels.
