The University of Utah School of Dentistry is interested in purchasing or commissioning artwork for two recently opened dental clinics in the Rose Park area of Salt Lake City and another in downtown Ogden, Utah.  It is hoped the art, commissioned or purchased, is created by artists living and working in the community these clinics serve. The Selection Committee will be looking for works that are inspired by the rich cultures of the community and/or the programs, people and academic pursuits of these community-based clinics. The art selection committee has identified potential sites for the placement of artwork in the reception/atrium of each clinic. The Rose Park facility has wall spaces that are 6’ high and up to 16’ long. The Ogden clinic has two spaces up 6’ high by 7’ tall.

The budget is up to $3,000 for each of the clinics in Salt Lake City and Ogden. The budget is all inclusive to cover framing (if necessary) and delivery / shipping to the site.

This project is open to resident Utah artists. Artists living in Ogden and in the Rose Park neighborhood of Salt Lake City are strongly encouraged to apply.

Interested artists may submit applications via email or hard copy. The deadline is the same for both methods and is not a postmark deadline. Please do not include supplemental materials beyond the requirements listed below.
