UMFA Coordinator, School & Teacher Programs

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Learning & Engagement, the coordinator supports Museum-wide objectives by overseeing onsite museum events for teachers as well as outreach programs in K-12 schools statewide for students and teachers, including Evening for Educators, Distance Learning, and Museum in the Classroom. The coordinator will be responsible for implementing these programs, traveling and teaching in classrooms throughout Utah, and re-envisioning curricula to continue to engage school communities through creative, innovative, and responsive programming that connects classroom core subjects to UMFA’s global art collection. The coordinator will champion collaboration and develop partnerships with schools and teachers, defining its role as a resource for these audiences.
