Artists are invited to submit letters of interest and qualifications for the creation of public art for the newly expanded Archives facility in the Rio Grande neighborhood of Salt Lake City. The Selection Committee is interested in commissioning work that in some way reflects the role of the Archives as a repository of collective memory, documenting the people of Utah and preserving the records of democratic government in Utah. This project is open to artists residing in the western United States, which includes Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Washington, Oregon, Montana and Wyoming.
