JOB SUMMARY

Assists with ZAP program's marketing and communication efforts. Supports staff in overall program administration, including grant management, grantee technical assistance, and meeting facilitation. Anticipated work schedule is 15-20 hours per week from July to September. There is a possibility that this position could continue into the fall.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must be currently enrolled or have graduated within the last two-years in an undergraduate or graduate program with a major in communications, arts management, or related field. Familiarity with the arts and nonprofit sector preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assists in the day-to-day content creation for ZAP's social media outlets -- Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram respond to inquiries and comments on ZAP's social media channels in a timely manner
Assists in the creation of a monthly e-newsletter which is sent to ZAP recipient organizations
Assists in delivery of the ZAP Kids Summer Passport Program, including marketing efforts, coordination with program partners, and assisting in the planning and execution of final Passport event at the end of August
Assists in the implementation of ZAP's integrated marketing communications plan
Supports ZAP staff in program administration, provides technical assistance to applicants and board members with the ZAP application process, verifies applicant eligibility and assists with panel review meetings.
