2016 Living Traditions Festival

The Salt Lake City Arts Council is proud to present the Living Traditions Festival – a free, three-day cultural celebration that presents the traditional music, dance, foods, and crafts of the ethnic communities that make Salt Lake their home. Living Traditions brings people together to honor the diversity and cultural traditions of our community.

This year the festival has undergone a significant layout change in the face of planned construction on the Salt Lake City & County Building scheduled for completion in 2017. The festival will now encompass portions of Library Square and has moved away from the west side of Washington Square. We are taking this challenge as a great opportunity to provide a new atmosphere and experience, and looking forward to turning a new page in the history of this incredible festival.
