The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square will be on tour this summer and won’t be available for the annual the Pioneer Day Concert.

These summer concerts featuring music by the choir and orchestra have been a long-standing tradition. Recent guest artists have included Alex Boyé (2017), the King’s Singers (2016), Laura Osnes (2015), Santino Fontana (2014), Nathan Pacheco and Lindsey Stirling (2013), Katherine Jenkins (2012), and Linda Eder and Brian Stokes Mitchell (2011). Free tickets for these concerts are required and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in June at lds.org/events or by calling 801-570-0080. Admission to this event is limited to those ages eight and older.

DAVID HABBEN

Graphic Designer; UDAM Teaching Artist | David received his BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University in 2006. In 2008, he became one of the first illustrators to become a Children’s Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. For the next eight years, David continued to work as an illustrator and designer, both in-house and freelance. Then, In 2017, he earned his MFA in Studio Art, with a Graphic Design emphasis, from The University of Utah.
