2022 Utah Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibits

2022 Utah Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibits · Exhibits run from Jan 24 – Mar 11 in the Lower Urban Room Gallery and the Children’s Gallery at the Main Library, reception will be held virtually

The Utah Chinese Association of Sciences and Technology (CAST-UT), the Confucius Institute at the University of Utah, the Salt Lake Eastern Art Club, and the Salt Lake City Public Library jointly organize the 2022 Utah Chinese Calligraphy & Painting Exhibits and Contest, virtually and on-site.

The children’s art is predominately from Utah residents and the adult art is sponsored by the Salt Lake Eastern Art Club with members from Utah, and other locations in the United States and China.

This is a joint exhibit in the Lower Urban Room Gallery and the Children’s Gallery at the Main Library, and is also available to view virtually through Biblioboard. The exhibit will run from Jan 24 – Mar 11.

The Salt Lake City Public Library will hold a virtual opening program for the 2022 Utah Chinese Calligraphy & Painting Exhibits and Contest on Jan. 29, 2022 2-3 PM on Zoom. The invited speakers include elected official, organizers, and participating artists. At the end of the opening program, the popular voting for children’s artwork will be conducted.
