A Mormon Maid
Please note, this event has expired.
Unlike “Trapped by the Mormons” this film came from a major American studio under the supervision of Cecil B. DeMille and had the finest cinematographer in the business (Charles Rosher) to photograph it. In 1915 D.W. Griffith’s epic “The Birth of a Nation” had taken the screen by storm and the 1917 “A Mormon Maid” was an attempt to repeat the success of that film. This is a rare opportunity to see one of the landmark films in history dealing with Mormonism.
