Based on the novel of the same name, this Kennedy Center-commissioned play by Utah playwright Julie Jensen is reimagined into a musical by YTU artistic director, Penny Caywood. Young pioneers tell their stories of growing up along the Oregon Trail as they encounter things both tragic and funny, frightening and empowering.
