Trees are vital not only to the beauty of the mountains but to the health of our watersheds and the operation of resorts like Alta Ski Area. Join us once again to explore the Wasatch Mountains while planting 1,300 native trees!

It promises to be a fun and challenging day enjoying the fresh air and giving back to our local environment. We will break into small groups based on ability (intermediate to expert hikers) and then take lifts up

DAVID HABBEN

Graphic Designer; UDAM Teaching Artist | David received his BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University in 2006. In 2008, he became one of the first illustrators to become a Children’s Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. For the next eight years, David continued to work as an illustrator and designer, both in-house and freelance. Then, In 2017, he earned his MFA in Studio Art, with a Graphic Design emphasis, from The University of Utah.
