"Amahl and the Night Visitors" and "A Christmas Carol" at the Grand Theatre

The Salt Lake Symphony is collaborating with the University of Utah Lyric Opera Ensemble to present Menotti’s “Amahl and the Night Visitors” and a new setting of “A Christmas Carol” by local composer, Michael Leavitt.

The Salt Lake Symphony is collaborating with the University of Utah Lyric Opera Ensemble to present Menotti’s beloved Christmas opera,  Amahl and the Night Visitors. This will be presented as a double bill with Utah composer Michael Leavitt’s new setting of  Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol. With four performances, this presentation allows flexibility for your busy holiday schedule with room to remember the spirit of the season.
