America's Railroad: A Choral Concert

Just two days before the official re-enactment of the competition of the First Transcontinental Railroad, hear this 100-voice children’s choir from the Waterford School sing about stories related to the building of the railroad.

The setting of the Rotunda in Utah’s State Capitol where two exhibits about the Transcontinental Railroad are on display, is a perfect location to hear music about the competition of the railroad by Classes I and II of the Waterford School.  Hear railroad favorites such as I’ve Been Working on the Railroad and Engine Engine No. 9 as well as songs about the work it took to build the road, the change it brought to the nation, the lavish party held when Union Pacific reached the 100th Meridian,
