Armed Forces Day Concert

The Choral Arts Society of Utah invites you to an evening dedicated to honoring our men and women in the Armed Forces and our Veterans. It is a free event, with no tickets required, at the Gallivan Plaza in downtown Salt Lake City.

The 2019 Armed Forces Day Concert begins at 5:30 pm, with the 23rd Army Band Rock Band (Article 15).  The main concert starts at 7:00 P.M., when the Utah National Guard 23rd Army Band, Chief Warrant Officer, Denny Saunders, conducting, takes the stage with the Choral Arts Society of Utah, Sterling Poulson, conducting. The concert will include a variety of music including the patriotic favorites you love to hear and ends with a rousing rendition of John Philip Sousa’s Stars & Stripes

Before the concert at 7:00 p.m., beginning at 4:30, Family support booths as well as other military unit booths will be set up for the public to view and enjoy. There will be food and drinks available for purchase from local vendors.
