'ART' by Yasmina Reza

Marc’s friend Serge has bought a large and very expensive painting for 200,000 francs. It’s a 4′ x 5′ white canvas with some fine white diagonal lines. Marc responds with shock and anger at Serge who responds with defensiveness and insults, all whole their other friend, Yvan, tries to placate them both simultaneously with no success. As the discussion moves from the theoretical to the personal, the three friends are forced to face the resilience and strength of their own friendship.
