An apocalyptic vision of the collision of two different worlds—urban life and technology versus the environment. Music score by Philip Glass.

Drawing its title from the Hopi word meaning “life out of balance,” this renowned documentary reveals how humanity has grown apart from nature, an apocalyptic vision of the collision of two different worlds—urban life and technology versus the environment. Featuring a musical score composed by Philip Glass, this is the first film of the legendary The Qatsi Trilogy.
