The Aspen String Trio is one of the rare professional string trios performing and touring today. After more than 20 years of friendship and music-making, the Trio is an ensemble with magical synergy. Each of its members–violinist David Perry, violist Victoria Chiang, and cellist Mike Mermagen–has a long association as artist-faculty with the Aspen Music Festival. They have performed across the globe in the world’s most prestigious venues. Celebrated for virtuoso performance offered with humor and insight, AST performs the classical repertoire as well as modern works.
