Lisa Van Orman Hadley is the author of Irreversible Things, a novel-in-stories about growing up in her quirky Mormon family that weaves together memoir, fiction, and the fiction of remembering. Irreversible Things has been awarded the Howling Bird Press Fiction Prize, an AML Special Award in Literature, and two Midwest Book Awards silver medals. Lisa’s stories have most recently appeared in New England Review, Epoch, and The Collagist and have been shortlisted in Glimmer Train and Ploughshares. She is a huge fan of the Sweet Branch Library and is deeply sorry about all the books she has borrowed for too long (but it was mostly her kids’ fault).
