Browning Presents! Flor de Toloache- VIRTUAL

Flor de Toloache, the critically-acclaimed all-female mariachi group, will perform their signature blend of progressive and traditional mariachi music at a virtual concert hosted by Weber State University’s Lindquist College of Arts & Humanities on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.

Flor de Toloache is known internationally for their powerful performance energy, intricate vocal runs and clever instrumental arrangements. The group won a Latin Grammy award in 2017 for “Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album” and is referred to as New York City’s “First and Only All-Female Mariachi Group.” While working to preserve centuries old traditions of Mariachi, their fusion of the traditional and the modern pushes the boundaries of the genre and brings Mariachi music to new audiences. In addition to touring across the globe to sold-out audiences, Las Flores have collaborated with artists such as John Legend, Miguel and Alex Cuba.
