Founder and Bandleader, Cam Gallagher is a University of Utah School of Music Alumni and a Downbeat award winning saxophonist. Cam has performed all around the world in prestigious music festivals such as the Telluride Jazz Festival, Croatian International Jazz Festival, Puerto Vallarta Jazz Festival, and Umbria Jazz Festival. Cam has shared the stage with a multitude of Grammy Nominated/Winning musicians like Kris Johnson, Randy Brecker, Victor Wooten, Jerry Cortez of Tower of Power, Jeff Coffin and Reshawn Ross of the Dave Matthews Band. The Creation of Cam Gallagher & The Tasty Soul was a response to the COVID-19 Epidemic. Cam’s vision is to create a band who brings a sense of liveliness, enthusiasm, zest, and passion in their musicality but to also make for a mesmerizing live show. Cam Gallagher & The Tasty Soul want to unite musicians and audiences once again through music. To help the people heal from the trials and tribulations of today’s world.
