Craft Lake City Workshop: Knitted Pumpkins

Supplies provided. Face masks recommended. Venue is indoors. Free parking available.
Celebrate autumn and the harvest season with us at our Knitted Pumpkins DIY workshop! In this class, attendees will learn the basics of knitting as they craft their own adorable plush pumpkins just in time for Halloween. Instructor Kristin Baird of Hey Kitty Rae will teach attendees the differences between yarns and tools used for this craft, the two elemental stitches of knitting, casting on/off, and seaming. Take these techniques to the next level and create handmade gifts for friends and loved ones this holiday season, and maybe even indulge in creating some cozy new knitwear for yourself, too! All supplies are provided, and fiber-arts beginners are welcome.

About the Instructor: Kristin Baird has been knitting and crocheting for over 2 decades. She has a passion for learning and has advanced her skills to include lace making and aran cables. Kristin also enjoys sewing, baking, paper craft and basically anything that gets her creative juices flowing. Beyond running her craft business, Hey Kitty Rae, and attending markets, she also teaches AutoCAD for Interior Designers at SLCC and is the Decor Coordinator for Craft Lake City.
