Historian Greg Smoaks will deliver a lecture on “Rural Utah at a Crossroads.”
Utahns embrace a rural identity despite most of our state’s population being urban and most of its land being public. Join historian Greg Smoak (University of Utah and state scholar for Crossroads), who will discuss the tension between ideals and realities of life in rural Utah as change – past and present – affects its communities.
