Deseret Newsies - Desert Star's Fake Newsical

Written by Melissa Merlot and Scott Holman, and directed by Scott Holman, this show follows Jack and Crotchie as they rage against the memes and fake news while they try to save the Deseret News from turning into another clickbait disaster. But standing in their way is the evil Al Gorithym and his equally sinister side kick, Pixel. They’ll stop at nothing to flood the world with fake news and take over. Colorful characters include Kylie and Kendall, the Daily Click faux reporter girls who love taking selfies, Mr. Deseret, the owner of the Deseret News and Katherine, the plucky reporter trying to save journalistic integriwhaty. Jack and the gang must work together to stop Al Gorithym before the world drowns in lies and everyone turns into awful memes.
