Double Vision: New Works by Jody Plant and Frank McEntire

In Double Vision, sculptors Jody Plant and Frank McEntire explore four classical elements: earth, wind, fire, and water. There is a fifth element addressed in many cultures and one to which the works in Double Vision aspires. Through the alchemy of assemblage and collaborative encounters with the four elements, Plant and McEntire evoke in their work the esoteric, or “non-physical” fifth element—that element transcendent of the material world conjured, although fleetingly, during solitary work in their respective studios.
