Douglas Kearney and Raphael Dagold Read at Guest Writers Series

Douglas Kearney is a poet/performer/librettist whose third poetry collection, Patter, examines miscarriage, infertility, and parenthood. His second, The Black Automaton, was a National Poetry Series selection. He has received residencies/fellowships from Cave Canem, The Rauschenberg Foundation, and others. 

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Raphael Dagold is the author of the poetry collection Bastard Heart. Recently, he won the American Literary Review Nonfiction Contest, the Mountain West Writers’ Contest in Poetry, was a finalist for the North American Review James Hearst Poetry Prize, and received the Ramona Cannon Award for Teaching Excellence in the Humanities.
