There will be two divisions in the contest. There will be a youth (16 and under) and an adult (17 and older) pie contest division.
Each contestant in the Pie Contest must bake one (and only one) pie for judges to taste.
Each pie must be baked in a disposable pie pan. If pies require refrigeration please bring them right at 6:25 pm Friday.
All pies must be taken to the Day Barn between 6:00 and 6:25 pm on Friday, July 19th to be judged.
All pies become property of Draper Days.
Judging
Each pie will be judged on the following criteria:
Overall appearance
Crust color, flavor, and texture
Filling consistency and flavor
Originality
The winners will be announced immediately following the judging on Friday between 7:00 and 8:00 pm. The winners will receive a prize donated by Kneader, our sponsor.
