Join Clark Planetarium at The Olympic Legacy Plaza at The Gateway on Saturday, October 14 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. for an Eclipse Extravaganza! The moon will begin to eclipse the sun at 9:08 a.m. and finish around noon, with maximum coverage occurring at 10:28 a.m. When viewing the eclipse from Salt Lake City, viewers will witness a partial eclipse, covering roughly 90% of the Sun! Free admission for activities, however, visitors are encouraged to purchase safety viewing glasses early. Solar glasses are now available at Clark Planetarium for $3, while supplies last.
