Eli Knapp at Moab Festival of Science

New York author Eli J. Knapp brings his fun, family-friendly book of essays The Delightful Horror of Family Birding to the 2019 Moab Festival of Science.

Join Eli for a presentation on his birding adventures across the country (and the world) and working to instill a love of nature in the next generation.

From the mating grounds of Ecuador’s cock-of-the-rock to the phoebe nest just outside his back door in western New York, Eli J. Knapp explores the roller-coaster ride of sharing nature with the next generation. Throughout each essay in this captivating collection, Knapp delights in unraveling ecological puzzles, injecting humor at every turn
