Exhibit: Go Figure! with artists Terrece Beesley, Sue Martin, Mary Pusey, Joy Nunn, and Joan Zone

This November, the Eccles Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden, will feature the exhibit “Go Figure! Five artists interpret the figure in paint” which will include art by Terrece Beesley, Sue Martin, Mary Pussey, Joy Nunn and Joan Zone.  A reception for the artists and an evening of holiday shopping is planned for Friday Art Stroll, November 1, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. The exhibits continue through November 27, 2019.

KATIE SHEEN ABBOTT

Choreographer; Dancer; Musician; UDAM Teaching Artist | Katie regularly performs throughout Utah with her cuadro which includes: Jake Abbott (guitar and cante), Sandy Meek (guitar), and Julie Sheen (cajon and palmas). While growing up in Utah she studied jazz, ballet, tap and hip-hop. After moving to Baltimore, Maryland for graduate school she fell in love with Flamenco after taking her first Sevillanas class. She studied with Solange Gomes for several years in Salt Lake City and most recently she lived in Sevilla, Spain where she studied with many flamenco maestros, including Luisa Palacio, Angel Atienza, Isabel Bayon and Javier Baron.
